The reaction I've gotten to this is very interesting, a lot of my other work is appreciated mainly by people who've shared a similar headspace, a similar experience to relate to. This is a shared myth from almost all of our childhoods. Mario and Luigi are our everymen plumbers in a working hero's journey, an epic quest across many worlds that all of us have tread. The world "mandala" means "universe," so I offer a complete cosmology, an 8 bit pantheon from my childhood.
Important lessons learned: Fight valiantly against the reptile brain, trust your jumps and go with the flow, and if you desire growth, seek mushrooms.
