If I was a Buddhist monk, or a medieval Christian Illuminator, my meditation would be to illustate the grand myths of my childhood, reflect on their meanings, and pass the stories on. This series is no different, the "low" subject matter contains powerful iconography relevant to a large community no different than groups based around other cultural
myths (but without eternal torment threatened after GAME OVER). Even now, when I was researching this piece, the muscle memory in my thumbs recalled the mudra to begin with 30 lives: up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, B, A, START!
